Health-care-practitioner-turned-patient Katina Makris will sign copies of her memoir, "Out of the Woods: Healing Lyme Disease, Body, Mind and Spirit," from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Elm Street Books, 35 Elm St.

The veteran homeopath and former newspaper health columnist shares her own 10-year healing journey from misdiagnosed Lyme disease.
