Broadway and TV star Lucie Arnaz recently came to town to teach at the Performing Arts Conservatory of New Canaan.

Arnaz worked on vocal performance skills with each voice student as part of the conservatory's "Masterclasses with the Stars." Elementary, middle and high school students participated in the workshop sessions.

"Lucie is an exceptional teacher with a lifetime of TV, Broadway, movie and concert experience," Melody Libonati, director of the conservatory, said. "It was remarkable to experience the impact of her connecting with each student helping to dramatically transform their vocal performance. Our voice students now have a lifelong memory of working with this exceptionally artist."

The Performing Arts Conservatory, now in its 11th year, is located at 70 Pine St. and offers voice, musical theater, acting, theater dance and piano classes.
