Staying Put is most grateful for your excellent coverage of the recent benefit, "An Evening with Paul and Harry, with help from Brian and Allison," at New Canaan High School. Our town is indeed fortunate to have such hometown talent willing to give their time to benefit Staying Put as well as honor the first responders, the police, fireman, the Volunteer Ambulance Corp. and CERT volunteers who help make our town safer and more desirable for all residents.

Many thanks for sending your reporter, Megan Spicer, to cover the event and for the advance publicity. It was a tremendous success -- a complete sellout of auditorium space with more than 100 additional people watching the simultaneous telecast in the Wagner Room at the high school.

The proceeds raised will be used to build the Staying Put long term investment fund, thereby helping to assure that our services will be available for current and future New Canaan seniors.
