A 54-year-old female resident of Harrison Avenue reported a larceny Dec. 16 at 8:57 a.m.

Police said the victim recently found out a relative of hers had been arrested for stealing jewelry from a home in Fairfield. She recalled the relative was in the area Nov. 18 because of a funeral and decided to check on her jewelry. She discovered four pieces were missing.

The missing items included a gold necklace with a pendant valued at $200; an emerald ring with a gold band at $180; a New Canaan High School class of 1975 ring with a peridot stone in white gold valued at $150; and a gold ring with an onyx valued at $80.
