The 22nd annual Kitchen and Home Tour, presented by New Canaan Cares, takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 8.
Seven New Canaan homes are participating in the tour, which will showcase the latest in kitchen and home design trends.
The Kitchen and Home Tour is New Canaan Cares' major fundraising event with nearly 85 percent of the proceeds directly supporting youth and faculty classroom instruction, after-school workshops and health promotion training. New Canaan Cares provides youth, parent and community programs that address numerous issues and raise awareness.
A boutique and luncheon takes place at a centrally located tour home. The boutique features a variety of vendors, including those selling jewelry, small gifts, wraps, scarves, olive oils, gourmet treats and more. For every purchase made at the boutique, 15 percent will be donated to New Canaan Cares.
A gourmet boxed lunch is available for $15. Reservations can be made until 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, by visiting www.newcanaancares.org or calling 203-966-7862. A limited number of lunches will be available for purchase the day of the tour. The boxed lunch is available for pickup from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on tour day.
Individual tickets are $70. For other ticket levels, purchase or for information, visit www.newcanaancares.org.
