The Silvermine Arts Center, 1037 Silvermine Road, New Canaan, as part of its "Film for Thought," series, will show the movie "William Kentridge: Anything is Possible," from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16.

The one-hour PBS special is devoted to the work of the South African artist.

According to www.pbs.org, the "documentary features exclusive interviews with Kentridge as he works in his studio and discusses his artistic philosophy and techniques. In the film, Kentridge talks about how his experience as a white South African of Jewish heritage has informed recurring themes in his work.
