Jewels valued at $14.5K reported missing from New Canaan home

A 43-year-old New Canaan resident reported a wrist watch and jewelry with an estimated value of $14,500 missing from her residence Saturday, June 23.

According to the report, the items included a diamond engagement ring, gold wedding band, diamond and emerald ring and a Raymond Weil wrist watch. The resident told police the items were last seen about three weeks ago. The residence has been under construction for several weeks.

The incident is currently under investigation, police said.
