The Bob Macauley AmeriCares Free Clinic of Norwalk is seeking interpreters fluent in both Spanish and English to help doctors and patients better communicate.

Volunteers are needed to work one four-hour shift per month on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be able to effectively communicate medical terminology, including treatment instructions.

The clinic, at the South Norwalk Community Center, 98 South Main St., serves low-income Fairfield County residents without health insurance.
