NEW CANAAN — The New Canaan Nature Center poured out a great time this weekend when it hosted its annual Syrup Saturday: a Pancakes and PJ’s Brunch.

Visitors tapped into the bounty of some homemade maple syrup, along with an assembly line of pancake, activities, and general fun.

“People get to celebrate the bounty of the season with us,” said Michelle Hips, director of community engagement. Many people have sponsored the very trees that were tapped for the sap and then boiled at the nature center’s own Sugar House.

“Who doesn’t love pancakes and who doesn’t love syrup,” she said.
