The Norwalk Hospital Medical Offices in New Canaan will conduct a ribbon cutting and open house on Thursday, June 27, at 6:30 p.m.
The public is invited to join Norwalk Hospital representatives and town officials for tours of the new facility. Light refreshments will be served.
The festivities will take place at the Immediate Care Walk-In, a practice of Norwalk Hospital Physicians and Surgeons, 38 East Ave., and at Norwalk Hospital Imaging and Blood Draw, located in the adjacent building, at 28-30 East Ave.
"Norwalk Hospital is pleased to be offering the New Canaan community convenient and easy access to medical care and diagnostic services as part of our commitment to enhance health care and preventive medicine services for all the communities we serve," said Michael R. Marks, M.D, vice president of business development.
All physicians practicing at the Immediate Care Walk-In are board-certified members of the Norwalk Hospital medical staff. The Immediate Care Walk-In accepts most major health insurances and charges walk-in co-pays that are lower than most urgent care clinics.
Coastal Orthopaedics, P.C., is also opening an office in this building. Avery Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology has an office at the 38 East Ave.
