A 52-year-old Southport man reported a larceny on Jan. 10 at 11:30 p.m. from the Winter Club on 604 Frogtown Road.

The complainant was playing hockey on Dec. 31 when his TPS Response Pro hockey stick was stolen. He had placed his sticks in a bin outside the locker room where everyone generally places their sticks. After being gone for five minutes, he realized that his TPS stick was missing while his other wooden hockey stick was still there.

Police said the complainant initially thought the stick was taken mistakenly but realized a few days later that it was probably stolen. Police estimated the value of the stick to be $229.
