Updated 11:53 am, Tuesday, April 24, 2012
The fourth annual Cocktails and Crooning for a Cure will take place Friday, April 27, at Waveny House in New Canaan.
The event was established in 2009 by Amy Lynn, Pam Lind and Cheryl Jones, all of whom work for the town of New Canaan. Lynn teamed with Lind, who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2005, and Cheryl Jones, who also has MS, to form a Walk MS team called Moms With MS. The event helps the team bolster fundraising.

The duo will also perform popular songs from '50s and '60s. The event also features cocktails, hors d' oeuvres and a variety of desserts. Highlights include live and silent auctions, such as a trip to the 2012 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles and tickets to a Red Sox game with a photo opportunity with manager Bobby Valentine.
Sponsors include Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Frenkel Benefits, Esurances -- Reid Campbell, The Bank of New Canaan, the Law firm of Durant Nichols, Houston, Hodgson and Corese-Costa, PC and the Bridgeport Lions Charities, Inc.
