Mercurio Ruiz Cortez, 29, of Forest Street was arrested on Dec. 4 on charges of third-degree criminal trespass and second-degree breach of peace.

A former employee of Carpe Diem restaurant who was fired a few weeks ago, according to police, Cortez had returned to the establishment intoxicated and yelling.

He was held on a $2,500 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 5.
