The Newcomers Club of New Canaan will present its biennial "Homes for the Holidays" house tour Friday, Dec. 6, and Saturday, Dec. 7, that will feature five distinct homes decorated by professional designers.

This year, Amanda Zorumski Design, Decor by Ainsley Hayes, Elena Phillips Interiors, Company K and Stirling Mills will decorate the New Canaan homes, with the help of a team of Newcomers Club volunteers.

Proceeds from the event go toward supporting various community organizations. Past recipients include Getabout, Waveny Care Network and Outback Teen Center. As a grant recipient in 2011, the Outback Teen Center completed a technology update that included the purchase of new flat-screen televisions, Apple TV boxes, a wireless microphone, karaoke machine, iPads and increased WiFi access.

"The new technology has allowed the Outback to reach a bigger audience and engage students in the way they like to socialize, relax and interact with each other," Outback Board of Directors President Sangeeta Appel said. "We are very thankful to the Newcomers Club for their support and for helping the Outback become current with today's technology."

Tickets are $80 in advance and $90 on the day of the tour.
