The New Canaan menorah was lit Wednesday on God's Acre. The eight days of Hanukkah take place from Nov. 28 through Dec. 5. At the lighting ceremony, clergy from Temple Shalom in Norwalk led prayers and songs. Volunteer families light the candles and lead the singing on all of the nights at 5 p.m.
