An adoption information session hosted by Family & Children's Agency is set for Thursday, Jan. 27, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the agency's main office, 9 Mott Ave. in Norwalk. Anyone interested in adopting a child is welcome to attend.

Director of Adoption Mary Kate Schneider will provide a detailed overview of the adoption process in Connecticut. She will also discuss the work of the agency with parents who have adopted children from the United States, China, Korea and Taiwan, as well as from the foster care program of the state's Department of Children and Families.

There is no cost to attend the session, but advance registration is required. To register, contact Linda Hall at lhall@fcagency.org or 203-523-5735.
