EOC update: power back for 60 percent; line crews working on 5 town roads

The Emergency Operation Center has provided updates on Hurricane Irene cleanup.
Sixty percent of homes without power have bene restored as of noon on Friday. CL&P expects the rest will be fully restored by Tuesday at 11 p.m.
There will be seven line crews with two additional crews out today, focusing on Oenoke Ridge, Parade Hill Road, Weed Street, Richmond Hill and Valley Road -- roads where the most power outages are.
Data on the CL&P website is not updated in real time.
The EOC asks that residents send storm photos to Irene.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lunch will be offered at the high school from noon to 4 p.m. Diner will be at Mead Park from 5 to 9 p.m.
