Michael P. Thomasson, 28, of 1/2 Auburn St., Norwalk, was issued infractions April 13 for failure to obey stop sign, possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An officer on routine patrol was traveling on Old Norwalk Road, near Main Street, at 11:30 p.m. when he saw Thomasson failing to obey a stop sign, according to the report. The officer stopped the vehicle and after approaching the driver, he noticed an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, police said.

The driver first said he didn't have anything in the vehicle, but he eventually handed the officer a small amount of marijuana and a pipe, according to the report.
