Two rolls of copper flashing were stolen from a garage on Sunset Hill Road, police said.
The value of the flashing, which surrounds the base of chimneys and other roof flourishes, is estimated at $280, according to police.
The house is under construction and there was no evidence of forced entry to the garage.
The larceny occurred some time over the weekend of Aug. 10. The worker who reported the theft said the copper was there when he left Friday afternoon, but not when he returned Monday, Aug. 13, said police.
Police said a vehicle of possible interest is a red Ford pickup, probably either an F-150 or F-250, with an extended cab, some type of logo on the side door, and a ladder rack.
