Construction worker's iPhone reported stolen in New Canaan

An iPhone 5 was stolen from a construction site on Frogtown Road Aug. 25, according to New Canaan police.
A Norwalk man whose company was doing work outside the property called police at noon to report that one of his employees left his cellphone there that morning and the phone was gone when he came back, police said.
The complainant said the employee left the $200 black iPhone on top of a fountain wall, according to the report.
Police said a landscaping crew that also was on the property that day was questioned but it don't seem to be involved.
It is not clear how long the victim was away from the site.
