Village Critter Outfitter, 107 Cherry St., New Canaan, will be hosting an adoption event for Community Cats from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 29.

Community Cats is a nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for homeless cats through trap-neuter-return practices and basic veterinary services to diminish the growing stray cat populations. The team also provides shelters and adoptions opportunities.

"We're excited to partner with Community Cats to lead these cats from abandonment on the streets to a loving home," said Shirleen Dubuque, owner of Village Critter Outfitter. "Whether it's neutering feral cats, providing health services, or finding homes for cats, Community Cats has already contributed so much to ensuring a multitude of cats' well-being."
