Pitter Patter Feline Rescue, a volunteer-run organization, will visit Village Critter Outfitter, 107 Cherry St., from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, for an adoption event.
The nonprofit Pitter Patter Feline Rescue trap, neuter and release feral cats, then find homes for them. The program spays and neuters approximately 250 feral cats a year, and adopted out 114 kittens in 2012.
"We are delighted to host Pitter Patter Feline Rescue and give them a venue to showcase some of the cats and kittens they have looking for a permanent home," said Shirleen Dubuque, owner of Village Critter Outfitter. "The spay and neuter program that they have in place makes such a difference in better controlling the feral cat population."
