Car stolen from Talmadge Hill train lot

A black 2006 Jeep Cherokee was reported stolen from the Talmadge Hill train station parking lot June 13, New Canaan police said.
The 35-year-old owner reported his car missing at 6:30 p.m., police said.
He told police he parked it in the parking lot at 5:30 a.m. June 12 and when he returned at 6:15 p.m. June 13, he found the car missing, police said. His co-workers told him that the car, valued at $11,000, was not in the parking lot at 5:30 a.m. June 13, police said.
There was also a $400 set of golf clubs and the complainant's $150 gold wedding band in the car, which has not been recovered, police said.
