The Congregational Life Committee of the First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan recently organized the second in a series of its Fellowship Brunch.

The events support a relaxed, social forum intended to promote member and non-member fellowship through the church.

The first brunch took place at the Elm restaurant in New Canaan in October and was attended by more than 100 members, guests and friends.

The recent brunch took place at the Roger Sherman Inn in New Canaan, and was similarly attended.

The inn supplied a menu of brunch treats, including its signature herb-infused scrambled eggs and a special creme brule-style French toast.

A toast with champagne mimosas topped off the event to welcome in the new year.
