Bright Ideas Tutoring wants to help students stay ahead of the curve this fall by helping them brush up on organizational and study skills.

"Academic success doesn't only come from the head," said Bernadette Flory, founder and owner. "Before students can learn effectively, they must be motivated and inspired to do so, not for the sake of their parents or educators, for themselves."

Bright Ideas' Back to School program workshop has helped many students start the school year off on the right foot. During the three-day session, students will receive the following tips, plus much more:

Learn the importance of time management -- bring your planner;

How to arrange your notebook;

Organized outlines, notes and homework tips.

The three-day workshop will take place Aug. 20, 22 and 23, and will offer a middle school session from 3:30 to 5 p.m., and a high school session from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Class space is limited to three students per session, and the cost is $350 per session.
