Sen. Toni Boucher was the guest of honor at the Redding Republicans' seventh annual pig roast at the Community Center Sunday, Sept. 24.

Republican Town Committee chairman Ward Mazzucco cited Sen. Boucher's "tireless work on behalf of our town and district" and lauded her as "a champion for the cause for greater fiscal responsibility in Hartford."

Sen. Boucher's Senatorial District includes the communities of Bethel, New Canaan, Redding, Ridgefield, Weston, Westport and Wilton.

In the Senate, she serves as deputy minority leader and ranking member of the general assembly's transportation committee, education committee and of its higher education committee.

She also serves as a member of the general assembly's finance, revenue and bonding committee.
