Backboard vandalized at South School

An employee at South School, 8 Farm Road, reported vandalism to a basketball backboard on June 18 at 7:53 a.m.

Police said the vandalism -- two large holes in the backboard -- took place between Friday, June 15, and Monday morning. The damages were estimated at $1,400.

Stop sign vandalized in parking lot

A security guard working at the parking lot on Cherry Street behind Bank of America reported vandalism of a stop sign June 18 at 1:48 p.m. The sign was found with a bent post and scratches and tears to it.

Police said the stop sign was last seen by security staff June 17 at 12 p.m. without damages.
