A 2010 Audi was found scratched at Morse Court in New Canaan July 1, according to police.
The complainant, an 18-year-old New Canaan resident, told police he parked the black sedan behind the Mobil gas station, 16 South Ave., at 8:30 p.m. When he returned to the car at about 11:30 p.m., he found several deep scratches likely caused by a key or another sharp object, according to the report.
There is a long line of scratches along the driver's side and the front and rear fenders on the passenger's side, police said.
Police estimate the damage to be at least $2,000.
