Celebrate the coming of spring with a nature walk led by Norwalk River Watershed Association's David Havens at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 23.

Havens will lead a walk to explore some of the first signs of spring life, emerging amphibians. He will begin with a short introduction on amphibians and how to spot them, then lead a woodland walk to visit vernal ponds coming to life with salamanders, newts, frogs and toads.

Participants should meet at the first parking lot on the right, behind the ballfield at St. Luke's School, 377 North Wilton Road, New Canaan. Tall, waterproof boots are suggested. The event is free and all ages are welcome.
