The South Western Metropolitan Planning Organization is initiating 30-day public review of the state Department of Transportation air quality conformity evaluation of the 2011-14 Long-Range Transportation Plan and the 2012-15 Transportation Improvement Program in connection with new standards.
Support documents are available at www.swrpa.org, including the August 2013 Ozone and PM2.5 air quality determinations, the regional transportation plan and the transportation improvement program.
Two public information sessions will be conducted. The first will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 11 at Darien Town Hall, 2 Renshaw Road, as part of the South Western Region Transportation Technical Advisory Group meeting. The second will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 19 at the South Western Regional Planning Agency offices at the Stamford Government Center.

South Western Region Metropolitan Planning Organization action on Ozone and PM 2.5 conformity is scheduled for Sept. 26 at 8:15 a.m. at the Norwalk Transit District, 275 Wilson Ave.
