$3,000 loafers stolen during move

A Bald Hill Road man had tables, an alpaca shag rug, a suit, two shirts, two sweaters and a $3,000 pair of Alden tassle loafers stolen during his May 17 move from New York to New Canaan.

He reported the theft on July 31.

Police are investigating his moving company, Star City Moving and Delivery.
