About $100,000 worth of jewelry was reported stolen from a St. John's Place house at about 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 27, New Canaan police said.

Among the six pieces reported stolen, there were pearl earrings, a pearl necklace and a watch.

The 49-year-old victim said she normally keeps her jewelry in a safety deposit box, but she had some of it out to wear it during the holidays, police said.

The case is under investigation.
