NEW CANAAN — Three cars were stolen from Forest and Weed streets over the weekend, police said.

On Nov. 4, police said a 2017 Mercedes E400 and a 2017 Acura RDX were stolen from the driveway of a Forest Street home. Both cars were unlocked with the keys inside. The cars were later recovered in Waterbury.

On Nov. 5, a third car, a 2015 Infiniti QX60, was stolen from the driveway of a home on Weed Street. The car had been left unlocked with the keys inside and had not been recovered as of Monday.

Also on Nov. 5, a 2009 Audi A4 was entered after being left unlocked on Old Kings Highway. Nothing was taken from the car.

Police said all these incidents occurred during the early morning hours by suspected gang members out of Waterbury.
