NEW HAVEN - Traffic from an tractor trailer that rolled over Tuesday morning was still radiating southward into the afternoon, backing up the northern lanes of Interstate 95 as far back as Milford.

The state Department of Transportation reported the upended big rig near Exit 46 was still backing up traffic shortly before 3 p.m. and predicted the cleanup to take another six hours.

Despite heavy rain and low visibility Tuesday afternoon, most of the Fairfield I95 corridor remained clear into the early afternoon.
