The Skating Club of Southern Connecticut in Stamford is proud to present the 12th Annual Terry Conners Synchronized Skating Open this Saturday and Sunday at the Terry Conners Ice Rink in Stamford.

The Terry Conners Rink is home ice for the Southern Connecticut Synchronized Skating organization representing the Skating Club of Southern Connecticut. The club skates three synchronized skating lines: the Shadows (skating Open Juvenile), Shimmers (Pre-Juvenile) and Sprites (Beginner).

The Shadows, Shimmers and Sprites, along with hundreds of other teams from Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and all around the Eastern Seaboard, will be demonstrating choreographed programs that will be judged for speed, difficulty of maneuvers and precision, as well as for style and artistic expression.

The Terry Conners Synchronized Skating Open attracts approximately 1,000 skaters and coaches and over 1,000 fans and supporters over the two-day event.

This competition is proud to be part of the Eastern Synchronized Skating Challenge Series. Participation in this series is open to all beginner teams and preliminary, pre-juvenile, open juvenile, open collegiate or open adult teams.

New Canaan residents Isabella Salant and Haley Fuller are Shimmers and Katie Marciano is a Shadow.
