Access job skill training
Local companies, along with New Canaan High School, have lent their facilities for photo shoots for learning job skills software being developed for the State of Connecticut by New Canaan-based Access Technologies Group.
In addition, the courses will teach participants skills and strategies needed to get, and keep, a job. The project consists of two curricula, each containing multiple courses, as well as several simulations that will enable the learner to practice their new skills using the computer in a role-playing environment. All of these courses will be available to Connecticut residents through the Connect-Ability website.
